Itinerary
Day 1 – Welcome to London!
Upon arrival into London Heathrow airport, transfer to your centrally located hotel. Meet up with your fellow Xplorers and local guide before heading out on a panorama city tour. Situated on the River Thames, London is the capital city of the United Kingdom and the most populous municipality in Western Europe. The population of London is incredibly diverse and more than 300 different languages are spoken within the city boundaries. London is renowned for the wealth and variety of its architecture as well as art, music, theater, and museums. See iconic sights such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge. Upon return to the hotel, your local guide will provide an orientation of the London TUBE, before the Welcome Dinner with your fellow Xplorers at a local pub.

Day 2 – Xploring London
The most expedient way of getting around London is via the TUBE, London Underground (subway). That's exactly how you will traverse the city today, with a local guide taking in two of London's four UNESCO World Heritage sites. Begin at the Tower of London to glimpse the crown jewels. Then head to Westminster Abbey, one of the world's great churches and an architectural masterpiece of the 13th to 16th centuries. Today, the Abbey is a living pageant of British history, site of every Coronation since 1066 and where 17 monarchs are buried. The Abbey also showcases Britain's most celebrated scientists, writers, thinkers, and politicians. Later enjoy afternoon High Tea, the quintessential English experience, and the perfect way to end the day.

Day 3 – The Perfect Girls’ Day Out in London
Spend the morning Xploring London’s famous fashion landmarks with a local guide on an ultimate Girls’ Day Out! During the walk, visit the best shops in town, stopping to enjoy delicious tea or lunch and discover why London is such an icon in the design world. Xplore Royal fashion, admire fabulous shopping districts, and department stores, whilst hearing stories of the women who made history in the U.K. Then Xplore the amazing fashion collection at Victoria & Albert Museum and hear fun stories about its most unique object.

Day 4 – Day at Leisure
Today is your day to experience aspects of London that most appeal to you. So many of London's museums and galleries are free of charge. You may want to visit the world-famous British Museum or peruse modern art at the Tate. Or maybe you simply want to poke around Harrods, arguably the world's most famous department store and certainly worth a visit! Your Tour Director will have a sightseeing itinerary if you wish to spend the day with her. This evening would be a good time to see a play in the West End or stroll the streets of Whitechapel on the Jack the Ripper walking tour.

Day 5 – Xploring Windsor
Travel through the English countryside to Windsor Castle, home of the British royal family for more than 900 years and was the Queen's favorite weekend retreat. The castle was built in the 11th century after the Norman invasion and is the world's oldest and largest occupied castle. It is steeped in royal history and antique furnishings. See the gothic St. George's Chapel, one of the most beautiful and impressive buildings in England and the final resting place for many monarchs. After visiting the castle, enjoy time exploring the town. Returning to London late afternoon.

Day 6 – Xploring Stonehenge & Bath
Escape the hustle and bustle of London for the day and visit two incredible places — historical Stonehenge and the beauty of Bath. Ancient anthropological history, beautiful architecture and stunning scenery make this a truly special UK adventure. First stop, one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world, and now a world heritage site, Stonehenge stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury plain. Its origins date back nearly 5,000 years and it has been home to pagan religion and spiritual worship, not to mention public debate ever since. Next head to Bath arriving in time for lunch. With fabulous restaurants, tea houses, sandwich, and coffee shops, not to mention all the classic British pubs, you will be spoilt for choice of places to eat. Bath is a beautiful Georgian city with delightful crescents, terraces, and architecture. There will be plenty of time to Xplore at your leisure. You could visit the Roman Baths that were built nearly 2,000 years ago or see Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge overlooking the river Avon cascading over the weir. Then there is the Jane Austen Centre and the elegant Assembly Rooms built in 1771. You can shop, Xplore or take afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while listening to live classical music. Returning to London early evening.

Day 7 – Xploring Abbey Road
Today is your chance to recapture the era when London was the cultural capital of the world and the Fab Four were its rulers, imagine Beatlemania and the Swinging 60s on a guided walking tour. Visit the Beatles “Apple offices” (where they played the famous rooftop session); the legendary Abbey Road Studios; Paul McCartney’s headquarters; the tiny gallery where John Lennon first set eyes on Yoko Ono (that fateful encounter that changed everything); the world-famous zebra crosswalk, you’ll walk the walk – a moment that’s a keeper, so be sure to bring your camera.

Day 8 – Day at Leisure
Another day for you to Xplore on your own. Enjoy a cruise on the Thames or venture out of the city with a tour to Highclere Castle of Downton Abbey fame. The choices are plentiful! This evening, come together with your fellow Xplorers for an evening of good food and fun at the Farewell Dinner.

Day 9 – Cheerio London!
After breakfast transfer to the Airport for your flight home with fond memories, new friends, and many stories to share with friends and family at home.
